Short Affair PROMPTS for April 25th

Is it Monday again already?

That must mean it is the Short Affair Challenge day.

You know the rules by now. You look below the cut to find the necessary prompts, and then you simply chose which one of the two prompt words you want to use. Then, you combine it with the colour prompt and write a story with between 300 and 1000 words. Easy peasy, simple pimple.

Today’s prompts are for stories due on April 25th. If you want to join in with today’s postings, you’ll find those prompts right here.

Remember, Section VII is a Gen site, but stories which are Het, Long-term Romance or AU can be posted in the Map Room. You’ll find the link for it down the side there.

Whoa, I'm late for this one... What's My Line? prompt

I had a mixed up schedule last week and totally forgot to do this.  We have a What's My Line? challenge that will post starting next Thursday, April 28.  You can post these all weekend, and of course if you're late just post it when it's finished and ready.
As always it's Gen, suitable for all audiences.  If you go the Het route then posting is in mfu_map_room ... 500 words or more please.
Okay, are you ready for it? Here it is, one of the most famous lines in movie history and something that seems so MFU it makes me squeal a little..."Fasten your seat belts, it's going to be a bumpy night!"

“Marco? Come in Marco, do you copy?”’ Illya sighed.

It was at least the tenth time he’d tried to make contact and now he was getting worried. He was soaked through from the constant downpour of rain that had been going on for days.

He was stuck in the middle of the jungle, waiting and waiting. He spoke into the microphone of the small portable radio he had with him. It had limited range and was being operated at a low frequency but it was only good if someone was at the other end to answer. Communicators were not being used in case their frequency was being monitored.
