If you haven't signed on for this adventure you can still join in on the fun.  We'll be writing a Round Robin based on my opening chapter.  The link to that is in the post referenced above.
It's like a party of words, so please join us.  We'll post the start date as soon as we have all of our slots filled.

Don't forget to sign up for the MFU Crossover Challenge being held at [livejournal.com profile] uncle_du_jour
Posting will begin on June 10, so you still have time to write the crossover you've been dreaming about.  Late entries will be welcomed, of course, but we're hoping to see several post during that first week of activity.
If you'd like an artist to help out we'll reach into our resources and see what comes of it.  Spread the word, someone you know may be looking for this challenge.

The agents crept along the dark tunnel floor, with Illya leading the way. With barely enough light to see; they hoped it would lead them to safety.

Charges had been set to destroy the satrapy; it was a storage place for records important to the hierarchy. Eliminating it would cause a major setback.

As Napoleon and Illya took a step forward, they were suddenly grabbed by their ankles and hoisted into the air. Once the swinging stopped; they were hanging upside down.

“Another fine mess you’ve gotten us into, Stanley,” Solo groused.

“Who the devil is Stanley?” Illya hissed.

“Nevermind…”

"I don't feel like work today."

The day was gorgeous and Napoleon Solo wanted with all of his soul to get out to the marina and set sail for Martha's Vineyard.

"Is it possible that we have an option on our plans?"

Illya, always the pragmatist who could draw his friend back to reality.  Sometimes it was not a welcome trait.

"I just …"

"Do not feel like going to work.  I know.  Neither do I, my friend."

The two sat in the blue convertible, each aware of the allure of Spring.

The warble… What were the chances?

Good. Very good.

For those of you who frequent fanfiction.net, either as writers or readers, I wanted to remind you that we do have a forum there for the MFU community.  When on the ff.net/manfromuncle page, just click on forums, and UNCLE HQ.  We opened the forum a few years ago when LJ was experiencing very difficult technical issues, and used it to communicate and discuss.  It's still available and viable for that purpose, so feel free to suggest a topic or post announcements.

Sign ups for a Round Robin here on Section VII based on Glennagirl's story:
"Higher Objectives" are still open.

Read the story and see if you're intrigued and would like to add to it.

No time frame is set until we know we have enough participants. The previous Round Robin we did called "The Fortune Cookie Affair" was a resounding success and a lot of fun.
So let's get together and have some more!

Signups are HERE.

Napoleon had been searching for his partner for several minutes, but had not yet been successful.

“Have you seen Illya?” he asked the next person he passed.

“I saw him going to the commissary.”

Arriving at the commissary, Napoleon found his partner, along with several other people, tucking into mountains of food.

“What’s going on?” he asked, sitting down opposite Illya.

“I have been called upon to help with a rescue mission,” the Russian replied, with absolute seriousness. “The freezer has suffered a breakdown, and this food was in danger of spoiling. The cook requested for us to save it.
