Slow Days

We're having some slow days around here, and with a few nice ones to tempt us out of doors it's no wonder.  I've been working more hours, more days... heading there now actually.  I haven't had time to write or even read very much, and perhaps others are in the same place.
Thanks to all of you who are keeping things going, still writing and posting when some of us just can't seem to manage it.  Section VII is full of awesome people and I appreciate every one of you, writers and readers alike.  It takes all of us to keep things hopping around here.
Since I've not got anything new, I thought a visit to another older story would suffice, hopefully.  I ran across this today when I was on ff.net.  I believe it's originally from a Short Affair, but it struck me in a positive way.  I've pasted it here rather than link it.
