You asked for it...a Christmas Round Robin.
Now's the time to sign up for
"T'was the U.N.C.L.E. Round Robin"

The prompt is a poem composed by our
fearless leader glennagirl and will
give lots of wiggle room to write.

Same parameters as last time,
minimum 100 word chapters
with no maximum.

The number of writers who sign up will determine the length
and the December start time for the challenge.

Comment on this post to sign up!

Our Halloween Round Robin was a huge success, and
we hope all the writers who joined in will be back again!

Writers on board:

ssclassof56, pfrye, avirra, katb357,  jantojones, alynwa, sidhe_uaine42,
lindafishes8, insaneladybug, mrua7 and glennagirl.

We'd like to hit at least a dozen writers again (if not more) for this round robin so there'll be
only one chapter each.

So sign up and join in the fun. The deadline is  Nov. 30th...though
latecomers are still welcome!
our Halloween Round Robin was fantastic and fun!

Writers, it's time to rec your own stories here (or those of your fave authors) Post links to these tales or repost them to section7mfu.

Readers, pick your favorite stories from the world of the Man from U.N.C.L.E. and post a link to them here.

Writer's and Reader's Choice gives you an opportunity to get your stories out there to be read again or for the first time, as sometimes they just get lost out there in the cyber world.

Since we're getting closer to the holiday season, why not start recc-ing stories with a holiday-ish theme. There's lots out there that maybe people haven't read at all or, for a long time.

I wrote this bit of fluff in honor of last year's MST3K Turkey Day marathon, one of my favorite Thanksgiving traditions.

This was a story written for the Down the Chimney Challege a few years ago for Avirra. The prompt was a song by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and it was a fabulous inspiration! It's worth listening to the entire You-Tube video before reading the story as it really sets the mood.

I have never chosen a story of mine...I am a much bigger fan of the amazing efforts of others than of my own, but the story that this is based on, The Not So Raw Recruit Affair was one of my first, and secretly my favourite of my own works.  This is a direct follow up to that story...and so far Napoleon is not entirely convinced that his new partnership with Kuryakin can work....

Napoleon Solo sat hunched on a hard chair in medical, watching the steady, rhythmical breathing of the newest addition to the New York UNCLE office, new Section 2 agent, Illya Kuryakin.

From the first day, Kuryakin had dazzled everyone with his brilliance, whether in the gym, with his linguistic skills, or down in the labs. Already he was working on a new design to make the communicator devices smaller and more streamlined. He was hoping that the new device would be able to do service as a pen, a flashlight and a compass as well as a communicator.

He was good in the field too, although Solo was finding the man a challenge. Socially they had become friends; and it was just as well that they had hit it off so well as people, because there were some aspects of Kuryakin’s work ethic or strategy that did not sit well with Solo at all.
