Time for the PicFic Challenge!

There's still time to write a story and post it for the current PicFic...and if need be you can
post it late.  Just be sure ti include the original prompt date in your subject header along
with the title of your story AND the phrase "For the PicFic Tuesday Challenge"

Remember, minimum 500 words, based on the photo prompt. Your story can be specifcally about the prompt, featured or just mentioned in your story. It's meant to inspire!

Posting here should fit into the GENeral concepts of the section7mfu community.

"A bit of flummery" for the PicFic Tuesday Challenge 3/7/17

The prompt:

It was quiet, not a normal quiet but more of an eerie sort of silence as Napoleon and Illya walked down a vacant street.

There were no signs of life, no birds chirping, no one strolling along the sidewalk; all the doors to the shops had their signs that indicated they were open, but there wasn’t a soul to be seen inside, not even the shopkeepers.

Not a single car drove by or was parked along the curb. and that of course, put the UNCLE agents on alert. This just wasn't normal.
