Time once again to bring us your short stories. 300 - 1000 words of U.N.C.L.E. action is all I ask.

To join in with today's postings simply follow this link for the prompts you'll need.

Remember, Section VII is a Gen site, but stories which are Het, Long-term Romance or AU can be posted in mfu_map_room.

Posting directly to Section VII is still fine but, if you wish, you can post your story elsewhere and provide a link. Please say where the link leads as a lot of people are unwilling to go to certain sites. Don't forget, Section VII and the Map Room are both available on Dreamwidth, for those of you who can figure it out (Just let us know if you posted there).

The Poll Is Still Open

We're discussing a big challenge to commemorate the last season of MFU, and the ending our writers would give it to replace the void of cancellation.

The date is up in the air, but after New Years seems to be edging out the October date.  Chime in, please.  And remember, our guys are stuck in the 7 Wonders of the World affair if you don't set them free with a new ending.


Also, don't forget the Summer of MFU Challenge is posting on AO3 under The Summer Affair This is a fun exercise in getting the men from UNCLE into swim trunks, surfing or whatever speaks summer to you.  You can post at the site through the end of August.

A request, or a suggestion ... Whatever works for you

I know most of the writers, possibly all of us, have various series or collections of stories that we have posted around the globe.  And I realize that most of the time they are listed as such, but it's darned confusing at times to try and track down stories and get them all read in the proper order.
So, here goes.
If you have a series of stories, or a collection, would you please round them up and post links to them here.  It would be nice to have a directory of sorts for everyone, in addition to the posts here on Section VII.
For instance, some of my own series on AO3 are these:
The ABC Affair
The House of Vanya
Once In Love With Amy
Pre-Series Illya

What I'm suggesting is that we have a directory of sorts, of stories that are tied together by a theme, events or a timeline, and post the links here as a permanent record of these collections.  Just do it under your own name as you would a story, list and provide links to the series and tag them with collections.  I'm adding the tag as I post this entry.
I hope you'll do this, and if you haven't already sorted stories into collections, perhaps this will help you begin the process of organizing your work.  It really does help the reader to find and enjoy your stories.
