What's My Line? It's Happening Today

Posting is open for the first What's My Line? of 2018. If you don't remember the line, here it is, courtesy of William Shakespeare.
A horse! A horse! My kingdom for a horse!

Here's a review of the guidelines and history...
The prompt is a single line, a thought or sometimes a famous quote or saying. Working it into the story is your task as you use it for inspiration. We previously had a seasonal challenge calling for a story built around a famous quote, and so titled QuoteMe. In this newer edition I am grafting that challenge into this one so that we have the benefit of both ideas in the one event.
It's Section VII, so Gen is the standard here, a minimum of 500 words with no limits. Posting is open all weekend.
