I called the series Soul Ties, and they do still reflect the intensity of the partnership and friendship.  It's early on in my writing, and so I notice the difference in my approach to describing things and emotions.  It's been a learning curve, to say the least.  Still, these two stories remain true to the partnership for me.

(This piece was inspired by one word, 'castex'.  I thought it sounded interesting and I built the story around it. Amazing how a single word can inspire somtimes.)
