We have years and years of enjoying and appreciating the men from UNCLE.  It's been 50 years since the show ended, and here we are, still besotted (that sounds like an Illya word ;), with the blond and the brunet.  How do you ever get over what is probably, for a lot of us, our first loves?
My friend Nancy and I managed to get some manilla folders and made ourselves an UNCLE file, played at being secretaries to the agents.  I think we even had a logo on the paper, probably my early artistic endeavors.
It's 2018 and I'm still playing MFU, only the stories I imagined as a child lay back in those memories of crushing on Illya and sharing it with my best friend. Today it's stories that I hope entertain and possibly challenge the reader to imagine what their lives were like in the universe where they exist.
Thanks to everyone who participates here on Section VII, writers and readers alike.  Whether you just drop by and observe or are commenting and submitting posts on a regular basis, you are part of this playground we are privileged to still enjoy.
I hope we have many more years of infatuation with Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin, with the mission they represent and the enjoyment that they have given us.

We're halfway through another posting period and, believe it or not, I'm actually writing something. Whether it comes to fruition is another matter entirely.

Anyway, we've had one submission so far from mrua7. If you haven't read 'Deep in the Heart of Texas' yet, I highly recommend it.
