Last week, I utterly forgot to post the halfway reminder for the last prompt. So, because of this, I've decided to carry the prompt over rather than post a new one.

In Memory of the fallen, (for Memorial Day)

It's getting to be a tradition with me to repost this story for each Memorial Day.

Let us remember and honor those around the world who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. We can only hope that one day such sacrifices will no longer be necessary, and that giobal peace will reign.
