Short Affair PROMPTS for March 4th

Spring is peeking around the corner (though those of is Britain could almost be fooled into thinking Summer was about to arrive). It's a time when nature begins to awaken; including those pesky little Thrushes.

You'll find the prompts for March 4th down below the cut. For stories due today, simply follow this link.

Don't forget, you can now chose to use one of the prompt words, or to use both in your story (not forgetting the colour element), remembering to state which combination of prompts you are using.

Remember, Section VII is a Gen site, but stories which are Het, Long-term Romance or AU can be posted in mfu_map_room.

Posting directly to Section VII is still fine but, if you wish, you can post your story elsewhere and provide a link. Please say where the link leads as a lot of people are unwilling to go to certain sites. Don't forget, Section VII and the Map Room are both available on Dreamwidth, for those of you who can figure it out (Just let us know if you posted there).

Title: ‘Medicinal Purposes’

Word Count: Approx. 735

Staring down the barrel of a 12 gauge shotgun was not something Illya Kuryakin ever cared for. Holding the weapon on him was a grizzled looking man, unkempt and in need of a shave.

“What you doin’ creepin’ round here bud?” The man had a deep whiskey voice no doubt from years of over imbibing; the smell of booze and stale cigarettes emanated from him.

Title: Dangerous Game, pt 2

Word Count: ~900
Summary: In which Napoleon and Illya find out the identity of a killer plaguing the city–and have to figure out the next course of action to capture him.

Notes: Continuation of last week’s piece, and is a bit dark/heavy and not like the usual feel-good pieces I write (rating this gen-mature to be safe). There is also reference to minor canon character death (i.e., characters that were one-time appearances, not Napoleon or Illya), admittedly the first time I’ve ever written such a thing.
