Faustina wrapped her lips around the end of the tube of Fabergé Glacé and bit down hard. She had never been good at standing still. From the corner of her eye, she watched Edith step back and raise the knife above her shoulder. “One.”
She could blame her nomadic childhood, but she had been unsettled from the cradle. A legacy from her father, whose restlessness had become mythic in its description. ‘The Man Who Never Sleeps.’ All myths have some basis in reality. “A company is like a shark, doll-face. If it stops moving, it dies.”

Hi, all,
Hope everyone is doing well.
haven't been visiting this community for a while, but had to jump back in to tell you about what I found yesterday at Barnes & Noble: a reprint/reissue of The Man from R.I.V.E.R.D.A.L.E., a parody that came out in the mid-60s. Haven't read it yet (I might have way back then, because my brothers read the comic and would, on occasion, let me read it), but I'm assuming it'll be a blast.

(Not April-centric I'm afraid)

Napoleon Solo was an expert at reading people. Their body language and facial expressions, no matter how minute, were an open book. When it came to the fairer sex, he had an advanced degree.
The woman he’d been watching was beautiful, which was what had drawn his eye, but she wasn’t the carefree lady of leisure she was projecting. Solo could read the tension in her stance, and the way she held her hand close to her purse.
It was thanks to this highly developed skill that Napoleon was able to neutralise the female assassin before she could kill him.
