Hello to all!  I've been sidetracked with some RL stuff lately, including getting prepared to meet up with a cousin, Miss WendieZ, aka wendiez She should be rolling into town next Tuesday, so I'm looking forward to some face to face MFU fangirl fun.
In the meantime, here it is Friday once again, and that means the Archives are open.  We have a sampling of Short Affair stories and one non-challenge story that is a multi-part, so enjoy some good reading here on Section VII, and Happy Friday.

Tell Me If We've Done This Before... and then write a story :D

I just re-read the story of mine in the Archives post, Live And Not Die.  One of the comments provided a prompt for a challenge, and I can't remember if we ever actually did it.  Perhaps some of you might recall.  In any event, I don't know that we can ever have too many stories about this topic:
First Meeting

With that in mind, how about an Impromptu Challenge that you can post today or any time this weekend.  It's hot outside, what else are you going to do while you try to cool off?

All of the same parameters: gen; drabbles are fine; no word count minimum or maximum.
