Short Affair Prompts for August 12th

We're well and truly into summer now (Those of us in the northern hemisphere anyway),but the heat is always on our heroes.

Don't forget, you can now chose to use one of the prompt words, or to use both in your story (not forgetting the colour element), remembering to state which combination of prompts you are using.

Remember, Section VII is a Gen site, but stories which are Het, Long-term Romance or AU can be posted in mfu_map_room.

Posting directly to Section VII is still fine but, if you wish, you can post your story elsewhere and provide a link. Please say where the link leads as a lot of people are unwilling to go to certain sites. Don't forget, Section VII and the Map Room are both available on Dreamwidth, for those of you who can figure it out (Just let us know if you posted there).

Inquisitio veritatis- Seeking the truth- Chapter 3 for the Short Affair Challenge

This story started out as a response to the July PicFic, but morphed into a WIP. Apologies to those who don't like WIPs. I 'm working on this one as quickly as I can.  The story will be finished, I promise.

Title: “Inquisitio veritatis- seeking the truth”- Chapter 3

Kuryakin, as was his habit, made a bee-line to the UNCLE archives for any information that he could find on the Xaverian Brothers, but unfortunately there was little to be had. The only reference he located was related to Napoleon Solo having been taught by them at the school in Brooklyn, and that it was an all-boys school.

He found that interesting on a personal level; perhaps having Napoleon attend there was his father and mother’s efforts to curb their son’s very active libido.

It's time to start posting prompts

It's time to start posting your image prompts for requesting a Halloween story in mfu_scrapbook


The challenge is fairly straight forward. The requestor puts up an appropriate picture (either MFU or something else thematic) and requests a story. Please indicate whether you want it to be gen or slash and MFU-TS (the series) or MFU-M (movie). In the tag line, please put: 2019 Halloween story request. Yes, you can double claim a prompt if the image truly appeals to you.

To claim a story, simply change your username to anonymous and claim it via a responding post. I have enabled anonymous posting, but if you have trouble, I will be happy to claim it for you. Just send me a PM. Please, please, please, if you claim a story, send me a PM and let me know which one you claimed. That way I know who to bug later. :D

The deadline from posting prompts is October 1st. Story posting will begin on Saturday October 28 and go until October 31st.
