How About Those Halloween Prompts?

I'm going to get out of my lane a little and put in a plug for the Halloween Challenge over on mfu_scrapbook
There's quite a few prompts over there that are still unclaimed, and I'm thinking some of the writers here on Section VII just haven't noticed. Am I right? Because, let's face it, we do that here... writing.
We'll be having our own Seven Days of Halloween, but let's not forget to support writing for MFU when we see the opportunity.
It's a fact of life that there are fewer people participating now than in years past, but the fires of the fandom are present even if in need of some stoking.
So, if you haven't already, take a look at the prompts and see if anything calls out to you. Several of our members/writers here on Section VII have submitted story prompts (myself included), so it's a little like answering a challenge here in our own playground.

This is a writing season for us if you take a look at what's coming up in the next few months.  And there will be a Christmas Round Robin once again, so take a deep breath and start typing.

It was considered bad luck for a building to have a thirteenth floor, at least here in the United States, other places, maybe not as much so.

Omitting it could take several forms; the most common of which could include denoting what would be the thirteenth floor by simply calling it the fourteenth, or giving the thirteenth floor an alternate designation such as 12A or M which was the thirteenth letter of the Latin alphabet, or merely closing the 13th floor to public occupancy or access as if it didn’t exist.
