This one is a little self-indulgent.

**********

“You seem unhappy, Napoleon. Did you not enjoy your leave?”

“Not unhappy, Tovarisch. Just a little sad.”

“Is there a difference?”

“In this case, yes. I’m feeling sad because my vacation is over. It’s my favourite place to visit and I don’t often get chance to go there, so it hurts a little when I have to leave again.”

“I understand, my friend.”

“I’m sure the happy memories will soon obliterate any sadness.”

“I overheard Marian from communications the other day, and she was saying ‘don’t be sad that it is over, be happy that it happened.”

“She’s absolutely right.”
