[livejournal.com profile] laurose8 had a suggestion for a challenge, and I'm passing it on to everyone.  Her idea was to write a story based on the upcoming St. Martin's Day.  St. Martin of Tours is the patron saint of horses, and is the patron saint of the U.S. Army Quartermaster Corps, which has a medal in his name.
The idea is to write a story based around a lot of horses, one horse, or anything that can point us in the direction of a horse.
St. Martin's Day is November 11, which is this coming Sunday.  You can write something original, or post a story that has been around for awhile.  We might also use this as a scavenger hunt, just to see how many horse/MFU stories are out there.
I leave it to you. There are no real rules here, just horses.

You won't be hearing any 'neighs' from me on this one. Now to hunt down my horse stories. Though at the moment Luna is giving me some inspiration by galloping from one end of the apartment to the other, just for the sheer joy of it. :D
