Returning from a month long assignment, Napoleon was surprised to find out what his partner had been doing during his absence.
“Is it true you’re teaching a dance class?” he asked, when he finally saw him.
“Yes,” Illya replied. “It has been noticed that I am very flexible, as well as fit, and I was asked what my secret was. I explained that I practiced the dancing of my homeland whenever I am able. A few people expressed an interest in joining my training sessions.”
“I may come along,” Solo commented.
“Good idea,” Kuryakin replied, surreptitiously glancing at Napoleon’s abdomen.

Date: 2018-03-21 11:08 pm (UTC)On a side note, my neighbor (when I was a kid) could dance like this. They called it the kazotzky. The wife kept my dad supplied with lots of borscht. She was an amazing cook as well as gardener and she taught my mom all about vegetable gardening. (I learned too) Taught my mom how to make pickles too! :D (From another neighbor we'd get pirogies. lol!)
This family's entire backyard was essentially a farm. Corn, tomatoes, cabbage, lettuce, carrots, zucchini, cucumbers etc. As well as apple trees with fruit the size of cantaloupe, pear trees too. There were also rows and rows of flowers.

Date: 2018-03-22 08:08 am (UTC)Our garden was like that when I was a kid. On a Sunday, my Dad would ask my Mam what veg she needed for Lunch. he would then go out and get it. There is nothing nicer than veg that is so fresh it was still in the ground 30 minutes before you eat it :-)
