Some of you may have missed this, but Glennagirl started a GoFunMe to help out (and surprise) our cousin jantojones You can find the campaign HERE, and we're calling it Dawn's Day at Cardiff.

It's in response to a post made by Jantojones last week, which you can read HERE

We'd really like to reach the goal set for her! Show her the love, cousins. Contributions can be big or small, it doesn't matter.

You're going to set me off crying again :-)
I'm not used to all the positive feelings I'm experiencing, and it's all down to my wonderful bunch of international friends.

(It's going to be a long 11 months.)

But it's a good kind of crying. Happy tears are good for you. I know you've been a wonderful friend to me and I really do believe that you and I related somehow. I found out that we have some Welsh blood as well as the Irish and Scottish (among others)

!1 months isn't so long when you have something definitely happening that you've looked forward to for so long!

It may even give me the boot up the backside I need to do something about my fitness levels. Cardiff is a beautiful city to walk around, but these days, thanks to my super-sedentary lifestyle, walking has become painful. Last time I was there, which feels like such a long time ago, I spent 3 hours just strolling around. It would be nice to be fit enough to do that again :-)
