I'm in awe of the pacing of this story. You've got a lot of letters still to go, so it'll be interesting to see how many twists and turns you have up your sleeve. Great job!

Well... thank you :D It requires some discipline to not jump into a situation too soon, that's for sure. I suppose this will be one of the longest stories I've ever written when it's completed.
