So original and clever! Napoleon waxing poetic about the glories of Spring while Illya discourses on the history and etymology of the word "equinox" is a great way to show readers the differences between their personalities without actually telling them outright. Great use of technique. And I'm loving the Gilbert and Sullivan references--Illya is perfectly characterized as the Lord Hight Executioner, and your Nanki-poo ref made me snort my coffee.
