No rain today in my neck of the woods; a lovely warm day with fluffy clouds. Ideal for a spot of gardening but, unfortunately, my hover mower decided to pack up when I was halfway through cutting my little patch of grass.
At 8pm I was out by my front door, joining in with the rest of my neighbours in support of the NHS & all care workers by clapping, rattling saucepans, tooting car horns or cheering. Living on my own, my clapping doesn't seem loud enough compared to houses with families in them, so I've resolved to look out one of the ornamental bells that belonged to my Mother. Next Thursday I hope to be out there ringing a bell instead - just got to remember where I packed them.
