Trying to stay ahead of the Russians seems to be wisdom, and so relocating to DW from Live Journal has been an eventuality. Since crossposting has been discontinued, and that is due to LJ policies, it will be necessary for all of us to stay tuned here.
I will continue to post updates on LJ, but my suggestion is that posting of stories be done here and on the other posting sites (AO3, ff.net, etc...).
There are also plans to have a Facebook community for Section VII, so you'll want to pay attention regarding that. It will be private group, and links to stories can be posted there. JantoJones will be in charge of that operation.
If you have stories that are only posted on LJ, you should go to our Section VII Archives and download them to your computer or, better yet, a thumb drive or device.
There's a post by threecee in the canteen on LJ outlining some actions you can take for exiting LJ.
Section VII is ten years in the making as of this month, and I'm grateful for all of the support we've had during this past decade of stories and community. We're going to do our best to keep going as bid adieu to Live Journal for the great ride it has provided.
The community will remain up and running, but primarily for posting updates. I really do not advise posting stories, and as some have suggested, removing accounts to lessen the likelihood of having information violated is probably best.
Do what you think is wise, but look for Section VII and the sister community Map Room here on DW.
Thanks to all and best of days,
Glenna
