Well, I saw it in the middle of the afternoon, in sunlight, and from some distance. But yes, it still has a brooding quality although it's smaller than you might expect. I wonder if I have a photo somewhere...

Isn't that the Psycho house? What a creepy photo! You should get quite a story response from it.

You're absolutely right. Amazing that it's so recognizable, but then again that movie scared the heck out of people, so it's not surprising it's remembered.

Psycho is a great illustration of what we were talking about in the Map Room, sometimes things don't need to be shown in detail to make an impact on a person. The shower scene comes to mind... eeek.
