“Coffee?”
A nodding head expressed the reply.
“Rough night?”
“Nyet … sorry. No. I am perhaps … um … jet lagged?”
“Working on this side of the Atlantic does have its drawbacks, I suppose.”
Illya Kuryakin looked at the man across from him and accepted the proffered cup of caffeine.
“Thank you.’ A small smile cracked the solemn face. “I usually drink tea, but I will attempt to assume some more American habits.”
Napoleon laughed at that. One thing he didn’t expect or require of his Russian partner was that he become Americanized.
“I think we have tea.”
“I know.”
