I'm sure you've seen your share of storms too. I grew up with N'or Easters, and my dad taught me to have a healthy respect for the weather and always be prepared for a storm.
He was what you call 'a clam digger'(someone who grew up at the shore) and an avid fisherman. His father kept a Jersey Skiff, a very powerful boat often used by 'rum runners' though my dad preferred to surf cast, rather than go out on the boat.
He could often look at the sky and predict the weather with uncanny accuracy. He sort of taught me to read the signs too, though the Weather Channel is handier.lol!
So glad you enjoyed my PicFic, that prompt just screamed out to me about the weather...but wanted to add a differnent twist besides it just being about a storm. Thanks for commenting!
