Trouble Cometh - A Little Drabble Do Ya

“What’s going on here?  Who is this man?”

The blond looked across the room at the one asking the question.  He felt trapped, and it didn’t help that his partner was nowhere in sight.  Illya would need to solve this problem without Napoleon’s help.

“Sir, I can explain…”

The girl cut in suddenly, her green eyes wide with excitement.  She hadn’t expected a confrontation like this.

“Daddy, I can explain.  We’re in love!”

Illya fumbled for the right words.

“What?  No, that is not correct.  Sir, I do not love your daughter.

Illya realized those were not the right words.
