An intriguing story with a surprising ending by Wendie. She's not a prolific writer,  
but when she does post a story...wow.

Summary:

In Russian, the words for opportunity and possibility are one and the same. As a gift for the second anniversary of their partnership, Napoleon introduces his friend to a beautiful and intellectual woman, the daughter of Russian immigrants. But, will Illya view this as an opportunity, a possibility or just plain meddling?

I'm jumping in for Glenna, as life and work have become complicated for her as of late.

Wendie's been really busy with life lately.

I did like collaborating with her on a couple of stories back when she was more active in MFU fandom. [grin]

I kind of figured that! Maybe you can coax her out for one of your Mood-Y challenges...perhaps the 50th anniversary one. It would be nice for her to join us.

I was looking for the one story she co-wrote with you...but I couldn't remember the title. It was a long fic as I recall.

I did this really quick for Glenna so didn't get a chance to look over Wendie's full list of stories.

YEP! That's the one! thanks. I remember when I first got onto FF.net and Wendie friended me and we exhanged emails...she sent me advance copies to read. I was so thrilled and felt honored....me being a newbie to the fandom.

Wendie and I actually did collaborate on another story as well. But that one is nowhere near as long and my input was just the one scene between Napoleon and Heather McNabb. That one can be found here: THE EXPOSE AFFAIR (http://www.mfuarchive.net/archive/0/theexpose.html).

She was more recently writing (like six months ago or so) a sort of counterpoint to my story about Napoleon's stint in Survival School (THE PLAY'S THE THING (http://carabele.com/uncle/PlayThing.pdf)) that was going to track Illya's time at the school 2 years later. And she had asked me to help with the "final exam" scenario. But she asked at a time when I was having some medical issues and I really just couldn't get up the energy to try and write those kind of elaborate scenes.
