This is a story by one of my all time favorite authors who's been tough to track down.  I think I like Jazline's stories as they tend to be a little dark, as is my leaning, though lately I haven't been writing that way and I think I need to get back to my dark roots. (haha...no I'm a redhead)

Summary: "The KGB has been kidnapping Soviet scientists who have been defecting to the west. Illya and Napoleon head  to Wisconsin to bring back a pair of brothers who may be in danger of being kidnapped next. Instead Illya is taken prisoner and sent to a gulag in the the Soviet Union. This story is really well written and gut wrenching. Warning: this story is very dark and violent."

There are follow up stories to his piece as well...once you catch your breath and recover.

Yes after checking I realized the web site isn't working either. Am trying to locate the authors works.
