Thank you for reading and commenting. I was sitting on my front stoop the other night and the images I described were what I was looking at, including the kitten. Now if Illya and Napoleon had appeared, well... you would have heard a very loud sigh followed by a thud as I hit the ground. :D
PS For some reason we haven't had fireflies ( actually call them lightning bugs) here in years, so seeing them brought back some nice childhood memories. My cousin took that photo of them.
