'Short Affair' PROMPTS for 10th November

Here we are in November already, a relatively quiet month for the Brits (Bonfire Night aside), and quiet few weeks for all the Stateside cousins (which is most of you) before Thanksgiving. (I haven’t forgotten those of you not in Britain or America, it would just take me too long to list all the national holidays.)

Until then, there is plenty of fun to be had on Section VII with the various challenges, and here’s one of them.

As always, all the necessary details are beneath the cut. Have fun.




-Prompt Word #1 - Curtain

-Prompt Word #2 – Slide


-Prompt Colour – Orange


-Due Date - 10th November 2014


Challenge Rules

-Your story should be built around ONE of the prompt words plus the colour. I.E.- Word #1/Colour or Word #2/Colour

-Word Count – must be between 300 and 1000.

-All stories should be headed with ‘Short Affair’ Challenge, the due date and your title.

-Please state at the top of your post which prompt combination you are using.

-Tags - please use short_affair, gen or gen-mature.

-Section VII is a Gen community, so stories should be appropriate, i.e. nothing explicit or overly-graphic. However, there is the Gen-Mature tag for anything containing violence, torture or mild Het.

I can't really take credit though, because they are entirely random. It would have been nice if 'crimson' had turned up for Hallowe'en week, instead of the week after.
