Ahhh, here's a place I'd like to be now that winter is finally showing it's face.

Awwww I bet if you went to one, you'd be pleasantly surprised. Disney parks though a money-making business somehow manages to reach out to the inner child waiting to escape if just for a little bit.

I can't deny that the music from the Sorcerer's Apprentice is wonderful, but I can't stand Mickey Mouse. I haven't seen Maleficent.

I've always been a Warner Brothers girl. My favourite cartoon character of all time is Marvin the Martian :-)

I'm actually not a big Disney fan per se. I grew up with Mickey and have watched him to evolve in animation and I don't like what they've done to him. My parents used to have a celluloid copy of 'Steamboat Willie" one of the first Mickey cartoons every made...though there was no sound. It was amazing. shame it's gone now... I don't like any of the new Disney stuff at all. Sucks. It's the old movies/cartoons that I like.

I agree with you, Warner Bother's toons are the best. Marvin the Martian is great. I think I tend to lean towards Bugs mostly for his irreverent attitude and comments.

My old neighbor once challenged me liking the WB cartoons saying they were for children...and I told her "i guess you've never watched Bugs Bunny." The old toons from when I was growing up were the best, now the WB...the modern ones, I don't like so much.

I wasn't referring to Maleficent the movie but the version of Maleficent in the cartoon...she was deliciously evil in Sleeping Beauty.

I'm partial to Snow White because of the dwarfs and Cinderella ...because my mom used to sing '"Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo " when I was little. She liked that song a lot... sniff. I miss my mother and would love to hear her singing that again.

Don't tell anyone, but I've never seen sleeping beauty. Your neighbour obviously watching WB properly. There was a lot of grown-up humour there. Saying that. I love the childish and puerile humour of the Animaniacs :-)

Actually I forgot about the Warners. I like them and their irreverence. They haven't been on TV here in a long time. I also got a kick out of Pinky and the Brain...

If you ever get a chance to see the original Sleeping Beauty...it's very different from the Disney cartoons of present day. Some dark and scary moments...back when you were allowed to scare the crap out of kids and things weren't diluted like they are for the most part today. Now there's friendly witched and ghosts and monsters that are not out to get you.

Hahaha tha's reserved for adults. Heaven forbid kids get scared now.

You used to be able to dress up for Halloween and answer the door and scare the kids...now days you have to worry about some jackass parent suing you because you traumatized their darling child.

Don't get me started on that, LOL. I can do an hour long rant about how the human race is doomed. All because we're mollycoddling children to the point that they don't learn what danger actually is. We also have to protect idiots by pointing out that coffee is hot.

Anyway, if I get the chance, I shall watch Sleeping Beauty. As you know, I love the darker side of existence :-D
