Lost Innocence - Writer's Choice
Apr. 25th, 2015 08:19 pmThis coming Wednesday (April 29th), is the 1st anniversary of the 1st Man from U.N.C.L.E. fic I ever wrote and posted online. It was over on ff.net, because I didn't know Section VII existed at that point.
I played it safe with my first story by writing an episode follow-up. In this case, it was for 'The Children's Day Affair'. It's much used plot, done by many writers, but I was so pleased when I received good feedback from it.
I've been somewhat prolific since then, though not always successfully. Somehow, in the last twelve months, I've managed to create several different timelines, which I'm going to have to sit down and sort out. I brought a brother in for Illya months ago, in one storyline, whose story I keep meaning to continue, but then plot bunnies attack elsewhere.
Anyway, thank you to everyone who has supported and encouraged me, especially
mrua7 for tempting me to Section VII, and
glennagirl for giving us Section VII in the first place.
Anyway, I give you Lost Innocence. The link takes you to ff.net

Date: 2015-04-25 09:45 pm (UTC)I wrote Torchwood fic before this, so I had some experience of writing. I was quite pleased with myself when I produced this. I had only re-discovered my love of MFU about 4 weeks before hand, thanks to finally getting around to watching NCIS (several years after everyone else). My love and lust for David McCallum re-emerged, so I immediately bought everyone episode of MFU from iTunes. The rest, as they say, is history.
