Having spent thirty minutes looking for his partner, Napoleon found him where he should have looked in the first place. He could have easily called him to the office via the loud speaker, but it wasn’t an urgent issue. He found the Russian, sitting alone in the corner, scowling into the cup he was holding with both hands.

“You seem perturbed, partner mine,” Solo said as he took the seat opposite. “Is there a Thrushie in there?”

“That would be preferable to what is actually in here,” Illya replied with disgust. “On what planet could this be considered as tea?”

I've never tried tea in the US, but I gather it's not great. The Russians and we Brits are a bit picky when it comes to our tea.

I've had some terrific teas here, but like IK, I've been in the same situation as well. Good one cuz!

I have a large variety of teas at home, including Yorkshire, PG Tips, Twinings,Tetley, Bewley's, Lyons, Barry's.. to name a few brands, I have Early Grey, Green Tea, Blueberry, Apple-Cinnamon... flavored teas, ones made from herbs, etc. So I have a tea for every mood and then some. :D

Admittedly, I'm playing on the out-dated idea that American's have no clue about tea. (I think I may also be channelling Ducky a little, LOL)

Mind you, with Alexander Waverly in charge, you'd think UNCLE could get some decent tea in.

Well back in the 60's there probably wasn't much in the way of variety when it came to tea in the US, so you're probably right on IK's presumption. I remember Ducky's 'tea dust' opinion of tea bags all to well.

Around here, loose tea is just hard to find, though there is a food store nearby that probably carries it as they're into the organic, new age way of thinking....but along with that comes expensive prices. lol!

My very Irish grandmother made pots of tea with tea leaves. That's what I grew up on. When she passed, my mom used tea bags(dust). I developed a love of tea again when I lived in England. Tea once again tasted like my Nana made for me. I am lucky enough to live in an area where it easy for me to get my favs-Lyons and pg tips. Now talk to me about drinking coffee in England 35 years ago! Yikes!
