Changing Up What's My Line? This Week

One of our Seasonal Challenges was the QuoteMe Challenge, and it produced some good stories.  I thought this week I'd hearken back to that and give you two quotes to work with.  Craft a story from one of these, not necessarily including it verbatim, but utilizing the spirit of the quote.  Of course you can use the quote if you wish, or paraphrase it fit the story.
Gen, 500 word minimum, with posting week after next... July23-27.

You are changing the "What's My Line" posting dates from July 23 as was posted in the calendar to July 16-19?

Just wondered because "The Great Episode Challenge" posts July 16-18.

No, you're right. I looked at the calendar for this week but not the month. I'll change the dates. We've been doing the following week except for the one week that Episode Challenge is due. We just have so much going on...
