Short Affair PROMPTS for July 20th

Good morning, how is everyone on this dank and soggy morning? At least, that’s what it is like here. It’s a lovely day for staying inside and writing (or reading) fan fiction.

Below the cut you’ll find everything you need for stories due next Monday, July 20th. However, should you wish join in with today’s posts, you’ll find the prompts right here.

If your story is Het, Romance or AU , then please submit them to the Map Room. Don’t forget to leave a link to it on Section VII.

-Prompt Word #1 - Rotten

-Prompt Word #2 – Howl


-Prompt Colour – Grey


-Due Date – 20th July 2015


Challenge Rules

-Your story should be built around ONE of the prompt words plus the colour. I.E.- Word #1/Colour or Word #2/Colour

-Word Count – must be between 300 and 1000.

-All stories should be headed with ‘Short Affair’ Challenge, the due date and your title.

-Please state at the top of your post which prompt combination you are using.

-Tags - please use short_affair, gen or gen-mature.

-Section VII is a Gen community, so stories should be appropriate, i.e. nothing explicit or overly-graphic. However, there is the Gen-Mature tag for anything containing violence, torture or mild Het. The Map Room should be used for Het stories, but again, nothing overly graphic.

-Also, as a courtesy to others, please use the LJ Cut, so as not to take up all the room on someone’s feed.

Hi there cuz. I just noticed something. At the top you have the date due as July 20th, but below the prompts you list a due date of July 29th. I know it's due on the 20th, just thought you might want to correct it.

I've got a blind spot with dates this month. I gave Linda the wrong date a couple of weeks ago' but luckily, she knew what I meant, lol.
