'Short Affair' Prompts for August 3rd

Good Morning, how are you all on this cold, rainy day? (At least, for us in the North-East of Blighty it is cold and rainy.) You wouldn’t believe, looking out of the window, that next week’s stories will be the first ones for August.

You’ll be unsurprised to learn that, as always, the prompts and rules for stories due August 3rd are under the cut.

If you would like to join in with the postings due today, you’ll find those prompts right here. It is ‘First Meeting’ week here on Section VII, so if you want to tie today’s story with your idea of how Napoleon and Illya first met, then please feel free. Also, don't forget, anything which is considered Het, Romance or AU can be posted in the Map Room (with a link to it posted on Section VII)

-Prompt Word #2 – Flutter


-Prompt Colour – Green


-Due Date – 3rd August 2015


Challenge Rules

-Your story should be built around ONE of the prompt words plus the colour. I.E.- Word #1/Colour or Word #2/Colour

-Word Count – must be between 300 and 1000.

-All stories should be headed with ‘Short Affair’ Challenge, the due date and your title.

-Please state at the top of your post which prompt combination you are using.

-Tags - please use short_affair, gen or gen-mature.

-Section VII is a Gen community, so stories should be appropriate, i.e. nothing explicit or overly-graphic. However, there is the Gen-Mature tag for anything containing violence, torture or mild Het. The Map Room should be used for Het stories, but again, nothing overly graphic.

-Also, as a courtesy to others, please use the LJ Cut, so as not to take up all the room on someone’s feed.
