Uniformity - A Little Drabble Do Ya

“I don’t like the way the fabric bunches up here…’

Illya Kuryakin tugged on the disagreeable garment…

“… and here.”

His model stood as still as possible, still not comfortable with this idea.  What if it didn’t work, what if this didn’t work?

The Russian folded the errant textile into its proper place, stood back to admire his work and accept the congratulations that would follow.

“Well?”

“Well what?”

“I did it.  Now you can take that walk.”

Napoleon hung his head as he headed out the door in his Boy Scout leader uniform.

“What I don’t do for peace.”

A newbie here, dropping by to say how much I liked this drabble. Poor Napoleon!

(And I've got to add, I like the idea of Illya as a designer too--maybe because I'm a bit of a fashion history geek?)

:-D Thank you! I've read your House of Vanya series and enjoyed it very much. Do you plan to write any more stories in that univese?

(I've got my own Vanya headcanons, but no idea how to fit them into a story. Maybe if an interesting challenge comes up... ?)

I do have intentions to write more Vanya, just haven't had the time to dig into it. As for your story, would it involve anything romantic? If so we have a challenge coming up, probably next year, for an AU/romantic challenge in the Map Room for all of those imagined happy endings.
Otherwise, feel free to write and post. In my canon, the Return Movie exists and so those stories are definitely welcome on Section VII.
