We have a brand of bottled water here in Kentucky (it's a coca-cola bottled product and may be other places), called Cumberland Gap Mountain Spring Water.  I took a sip this morning and it had that sweet, pure flavor of something natural and wonderful... That's how I got to this.

Illya stuck his face in the crystalline stream, slurping up as much as he could without strangling himself. Then Napoleon, the thirst was nearly unquenchable.

Falling back from the edge of the stream, each measured his breath against the realization that they were out of danger.

"That water is the best thing I've ever tasted."  Illya nodded in agreement. "Nature knows how to do things better than we do.  Fresh spring water has no equal."

Two days later each man had earned a much needed free weekend.

"Plans Napoleon?"

"Champagne and caviar with Linda."

"Better than water?"

Solo just smiled...

How did you find out about my date? Tell him I'm particular about my caviar. *smiles in anticipation*

I'll start looking for the water on store shelves.

Coca cola doesn't sell natural water in the UK. It tried selling bottled water back in '04, spent a fortune promoting it and then had to withdraw it in the backlash when it was discovered to be bottled tap water.

Apparently they're trying again with water that is distilled and then has electrolytes added to give a "crisp, clean taste".

Spring water is fine when they can point you to the source, it's the brands that are vague about where it comes from that are more iffy.

My tap water comes from the local sandstone.

Very nice - and nothing does taste better than water when you're thirsty, does it?

I can almost taste that water, and I'll take it over champagne any day of the week :-)
