At Glennagirl's suggestion, we're going to have a Round Robin drabble challenge here in Section VII next week. It's based on this drabble that I posted today, and prompted by Glennagirl's comment: "Just a fortune cookie? Imagine what they might find in a fortune cookie... uh oh... plot bunny.'
Here's my drabble that's starting us off:
"There is nothing we can hold onto in this world. It is but an illusion. Only by letting go can we truly possess what is real," Illya Kuryakin announced to his partner as he sipped a small cup of green tea.
They'd met for lunch at their usual place, Chang's Restaurant. The food was good and they knew Kuryakin's infamous appetite well enough to make the portions extra large.
"I didn't know you were into ancient Chinese philosphy," Napoleon speared his food with his fork; he could never get the hang of chopsticks.
"No...merely a fortune cookie," Illya barely smiled.
The Title for this Round Robin is:
"The Fortune Cookie Affair."

The Gen chapter you contribute must be in the form of a Half-drabble (50 words), a Full drabble (100 words) OR a Double-drabble (200 words)
Posting will begin next Wednesday, with one chapter posting each day in order of the queue. (giving each one of you to write and post your chapter based on the ones posted prior)
The idea is to have a cohesive story written by everyone, but with their own take, so this NOT just a series of unrelated drabbles. We want them to connect somehow.
So let's see where and how far this can take us?
Sign up for the round robin here in the comments.
Posting will be in the order of sign up. (Signups close Tuesday evening 9/15)
