[identity profile] glennagirl.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] section7mfu
In a comment from [livejournal.com profile] otherhawk she mentioned her file of stories that needed to be 'expanded', and the idea struck me that all of us probably have a few in our own file cabinet that are works in progress, and in need of completion.
So, here's what I'm suggesting...
Let's make Fridays the day to celebrate our overload of story ideas and start finishing them, posting them and being done with them.  Start small if you need to but if you have that unfinished story, or the one that was simply a primer for a longer story, then get it done and post it on Fridays.  Whether it is the next chapter inspired by a PicFic, a drabble or just that idea floating around without a challenge home, then Friday is your day.
I know of at least four stories that I have staring back at me from my computer screen, how about you?
If you're looking for beta help there's always [livejournal.com profile] mfuwss You can post a story and ask for help, suggestions and betas on that site.  Don't let your unfinished stories languish in a heap of ideas, let's get them finished.
Of course any day of the week is open for posting new stories, but Friday is a day to shoot for if you have been waiting for a reason to finish something that has been delayed for some reason or other.
The topic is open for discussion, so let's fine tune this concept and start finishing stories.

This is a good idea! Maybe it will give me the motivation to get off of my posterior and finish that last chapter of the "Yellowstone Affair" plus I have a couple that have been brewing for sometime.
