A double drabble.
...............................................

Lisa's first thought was to ring security, which she did.  Unsure what had overtaken Kuryakin she stood back and waited until emergency personnel could verify that he was alive.  Lisa had never been a fan of the Russian, though for reasons all her own.

Waverly was apprised of the situation, kept to his office for security reasons.  Napoleon was notified of the development while Slate and Dancer arrived as Illya was being wheeled into Medical, his senses returning and a stream of protests spewing out like brackish water.

"Too many cookies old man, you took a header in the elevator."  Mark was wary of Illya, but the chance to rib him over the cookies was too tempting.

"It's that knock on the head I received most likely.' The nausea had passed and reason prevailed.

"No one else is sick?"  April and Mark both shook their heads.

"I rest my case.  I'll be fine.  The bigger problem is this message." He showed it to the other two agents, watched their eyes widen at the threat it suggested.

"So… the more we look the more we court danger?"

"I think so, and that makes me wonder what we're really dealing with here.

Oh good, Illya just ate too many cookies. LOL. Or all the knock-outs caught up with him. ;)

Although if the message did not mean they brought danger into HQ with the cookies, one wonders why THRUSH went to so much trouble putting that message in the cookie, as though knowing U.N.C.L.E. would confiscate them and read it. LOL. It's like something cracky from The Monkees.

Such an interesting, twisting story!

Hmmm, you've left quite a wide open door for me here....Where to go with this, where to go.

At this point it's safe to assume we're going to have a second go round with this Round Robin.

Did Illya (talented eater) just have an upset tummy (true--a bump on the head could aggravate things, but this is Illya we're talking about. And what is really going on in headquarters? You've moved the story along nicely, but now there's even more to puzzle through... What fortunes of war lie ahead, I wonder? (grin)

Thanks so much for non-poisoned Illya. I was worried there for 24 hours. Still, the clue in that cookie is worrisome. Good chapter.

Well it makes much more sense that the head injury was to blame. Although, eating fortune cookies makes me feel that way, too! The last sentence says it all!

Knock on the head makes perfect sense; let's face it, it's a wonder he has any brain cells left. You're really setting up even more intrigue here.
