Round Table - So Now What?

Halloween is past, Thanksgiving just weeks up ahead of us.  So... what's next and how does that affect your activities on LJ?  And if it affects you to have the holiday season upon us, then how might the men from UNCLE be doing as they mix and mingle with ordinary folk who just want a happy repast and some gifts under the tree come Christmas?
Are you writing and reading like you used to, or is life beginning to demand more of your time and energy?
Just curious.

I've got plenty of story ideas which I'm getting on with for the most part, but real life is currently doing its best to kick me in the teeth. Maybe I will call on the men from U.N.C.L.E. for a rescue (that blond Russian one especially).

Definitely make that call ;) I think our imagination and the stories that evolve out of our lives in conjuntion with the fantasy is what makes it all so interesting and engaging.

My writing is always a slow process, but the reading is definitely slowed to a crawl. Of course there were a ton of stories on section VII this week, it's been hard to read them all. There were a lot of recs for Writers and Readers Choice.

I have spent a lot of time on the Russian COUSIN site this week. They are a fun group with many questions. They are asking for fan fiction stories about Illya's and Napoleon's youth and fanon about them.

Life has been wearing me out more so as of late...the holiday? You already know my status on that. Thanks giving and Xmas are 2 free meals and nothing more. All I have is my writing and a bit of music. Status quo, nothing changes, but status quo is a good thing. Better than life getting worse, right?

Things are about the same here. I have a couple of sewing projects that may slow writing for a bit; on the other hand, if I get seriously plunnied, the writing will probably slow the sewing projects. And I'll probably be writing a lot of holiday-themed fics. Whether there will be U.N.C.L.E. ones depends on how the plunnies bite. I kind of get an interesting plunnie just from reading the topic introduction, so hmmm....

My work life has been hectic throughout the month of October. I have not been able to read all the Halloween stories. I think I got to one or two! But now that work is back to normal, I intend to do lunch with the guys.
Thanksgiving is my holiday this year. All my favorite people will be celebrating with me!!
