Short Affair PROMPTS for Nov 16th

Hello, hello, hello. Monday is with us once again, and that means it is ‘Short Affair’ challenge day. It’s a simple premise. Simply choose one of the two words on offer, combine it with the colour given, and write a story between 300 and 1000 words in length. You’ll find all the prompts and rules beneath the cut for stories due next week (Nov 16th)

If you wish to join today’s postings, you’ve still got plenty of time. You’ll find those prompts just here.

Should your story be AU, Long term romance, or Het, then please post it in the Map Room (remembering to leave a link to it on Section VII).

-Prompt Word #2 – Increase


-Prompt Colour – Crimson


-Due Date – 16th November 2015


Challenge Rules

-Your story should be built around ONE of the prompt words plus the colour. I.E.- Word #1/Colour or Word #2/Colour

-Word Count – must be between 300 and 1000.

-All stories should be headed with ‘Short Affair’ Challenge, the due date and your title.

-Please state at the top of your post which prompt combination you are using.

-Tags - please use short_affair, gen or gen-mature.

-Section VII is a Gen community, so stories should be appropriate, i.e. nothing explicit or overly-graphic. However, there is the Gen-Mature tag for anything containing violence, torture or mild Het. The Map Room should be used for Het stories, but again, nothing overly graphic.

-Also, as a courtesy to others, please use the LJ Cut, so as not to take up all the room on someone’s feed.
