Illya came into the office to find Napoleon squinting perplexedly at a large stack of paperwork.

"Expenses time again?"

"No," Napoleon said distractedly. "I couldn't find my pen this morning so I went to get a new one from the stationery cupboard and that new office manager told me there was a new procedure and I had to fill in a form and get it signed by my manager."

"Did you tell her that would be Mr Waverly?"

"No exceptions, she said."

"Ah."

"This is asking for more details than the armoury needs to replace my gun last month! She gave me a four page work instruction to tell me how to complete the form. She's got dozens of these. Look, here's a two page instruction on how to answer the phone."

"Yes, I saw that when I went to talk to her after misplacing my pen last night."

"Well what did you do?"

"I took the one from your desk."
