A Simple Gift

I love this story I wrote about Christmas and the budding friendship of Napoleon and Illya.  "A Simple Gift" and its sequel, "A Promise and a Gift," gives some explanation of how their partnership began to progress toward a personal relationship.

I actually forgot about the party. I've been busy lately and it seems that I'm playing catch up when it comes to reading and writing. I'm so far behind, it's not even funny. I have my Episode Challenge story started along with a Boston Legal story and a The Blacklist story. Since it would be pretty tacky for the Episode Challenge moderator not to have a story to post, I'm working on that one today.

I think there's a party in the Canteen on the 19th; I'll try to remember to attend that one.

I dropped doing the 25 days of Christmas and posting daily holiday stories. There was a very lukewarm response, as I'm sure everyone is busy with holiday and daily needs. It was a lot of work, and not worth it due to the lack of interest. I don't do well with the holidays as it is, so I was forcing myself to do the rah-rah thing. I had enough...as I felt like I was taking to a brick wall, so to speak.

Will be glad when the next couple of months are over.
