Short Affair PROMPTS for Dec 28th

Can you believe that these are the prompts for the final Short Affair of 2015? The year has simply flown by. We’ve had many wonderful submissions to this challenge, and I hope this will continue into 2016.

As the postings for these prompts fall into the week containing the New Year, I would love it if you themed your stories around that. You don’t have to of course, but I find New Year to be a fantastic source for plot bunnies.

Don’t forget, you still have time to join in with today’s posts. You’ll find those prompts right here, and I really would like to see some festive stories today.

Should your story be AU, Long term romance, or Het, then please post it in the Map Room (remembering to leave a link to it on Section VII).

Challenge Rules

-Your story should be built around ONE of the prompt words plus the colour. I.E.- Word #1/Colour or Word #2/Colour

-Word Count – must be between 300 and 1000.

-All stories should be headed with ‘Short Affair’ Challenge, the due date and your title.

-Please state at the top of your post which prompt combination you are using.

-Tags - please use short_affair, gen or gen-mature.

-Section VII is a Gen community, so stories should be appropriate, i.e. nothing explicit or overly-graphic. However, there is the Gen-Mature tag for anything containing violence, torture or mild Het. The Map Room should be used for Het stories, but again, nothing overly graphic.

-Also, as a courtesy to others, please use the LJ Cut, so as not to take up all the room on someone’s feed.
