in keeping with the idea of crossovers I'm reposting Glennagirl's post for the upcoming Crossover Challenge

We discussed this and had some great feedback on the subject of doing a Crossover Challenge.  Some writers already have crossovers in their portfolio, posted and otherwise, and hopefully all of us have an idea floating around or the 'want to' regarding writing a new crossover that includes MFU and any other fandom/film/book, etc... of your choice.
This challenge will be multi-genre and will post on uncle_du_jour which is a community helmed by mrua7. 
The stories can and hopefully will include artwork, photo manips or illustrations.  We can offer that as an entirely separate call to help ensure that every story has that included.
We don't have all of the details just yet, but I'm excited for the potential in this, and the fun of reading stories built around this concept.  Crossovers aren't new, of course, but I don't recall a challenge specifically aimed at them here in the MFU communities.
Dates, length of time before posting and a few other details are yet to be determined, but you might as well start writing because it will happen.

Well being disabled and on a fixed income, I only go out to food shop, to the doctor and to a twice a month to trad Irish Music session that I help run in town....running means I just sit there in the pub and play tunes with my friends. Sadly I can't drink anymore either. grrrr.

Other than that I'm home all the time. No TV, just DVD's to watch. Get my news on line.

I have a car that's on its last legs so I don't drive very far in it. Such is life.

So yeah, time is something I have a lot of... I spend most my days writing MFU stories; helps pass the time.

I'm sorry, I didn't know your situation. Actually I'm finding the MFU stories a great comfort. I've got a neurological condition that is deteriorating. Today I had a big change in my medication and have felt like left over green jello all day....if this medication doesn't work I'm looking at brain surgery.

I'm retired, fixed income as well......

Reading helps me pass the time.

Oh Lord, I'm sorry to hear of your situation as well. Changes in meds can knock you for a loop can't they? Fingers crossed the new meds work. Sending you good vibes and prayers they do.
