"Darling," Angelique La Chien practily purred. The spoken word was no doubt directed at Solo. Illya knew that as there was no love lost between himself and the THRUSH femme fatale.

"I'm not sure whether I should thank you or not," Napoleon responded.

"Well you should be grateful, after all I bought your insipid Russian friend as well. I knew there would be no living with you if I let him get into hands that would no doubt cause him bodily harm, perhaps even death.

"Thank goodness for small favors," Illya mumbled.

"I wasn't speaking to you slave!" Angelique spoke in a stern voice and hit the Russian with a riding crop she held in her hand.

"Do that again and you will regret it," Illya sneered.

"Kuryakin, I have to put on a good show of it for the others," she whispered, but suddenly raised her voice. "You will both address me as Mistress. If you do not you will suffer the consequences."

She took hold of the rope ends to the nooses that had been tied around the UNCLE agent's necks. Their hands were bound behind their backs so there was little they could do.

"Now come, my car awaits."

They followed her like puppy dogs as members of the audience applauded their approval.  Once outside in the alleyway, they all climbed into her limo where Napoleon and Illya's bonds were removed.

Kuryakin lifted the noose around his neck with out a comment then proceeded to rub his wrists that were raw from being tied up so long.

"Angelique, so what's your game?"Napoleon asked. "Surely we're not your slaves as setting us free in the car would allow us to overpower you and escape."

I already have it done and ready to post, but for some reason, I can't get it to post. I am having problems with my internet being dodgy. Will see if I can work it out...but I hope everybody likes it! Might make it on there yet!

Sometimes Live Journal can get a bit wonky, so it might not be you. Make sure when you post yours to include links to chapter 1 and chapter 2 at the top of your chapter. You can just cut and paste the links.

I had to go back to using facebook checkin to post anything...I have no idea why. I had to logout of my LJ journal first. Also, although I did the cut and paste on the links, they didn't work, so I just left a comment to use the challenge tag. I will get better with the mechanics as we go. My access to the internet is limited at best, so that may be why I am having so much trouble with LJ. Anyway, cheers, and I hope you like my offering.

Are you posting with html or Rich Text? You should be using Rich Text. When you post you should just be cutting and pasting your text into the posting window. Not sure why a cut and paste of a link wouldn't work.... it should be the same when doing it for a story.

Need to do a check list. First, do you have a live journal account? (free one) I tried to send you a pm on LJ and it said your user name wasn't valid. 2. most likely you need to review your settings for your account


I checked member settings and made a change for you that might have affected your ability to post under your LJ account.

Try switching it back to your LJ account once you review all your settings. It's just not safe linking to your Facebook account.
