Barbara continued on her way to wherever she’d been going, leaving Solo and Kuryakin still standing there in the corridor.

“You are welcome,” Illya said, crossing his arms in front of himself.

“For what?

“If I had not chased you, then you would not have ended up arranging your date with Miss Buxom.”

“Oh that... well it would have happened eventually. Remember, when you’ve got it, you’ve got it and…”

“I know, I know and you have it. Napoleon you are still blowing smoke are you not?”

“Guess I am,” Napoleon clenched his extinguished cigar between his teeth and grinned.

Oh, wow, that's a lot of drabbles, very nice. I love the other agents just carrying on, not really bothering with what Napoleon and Illya are up to. And I love Mr Waverly here as well. At least he understands their need to blow off steam.

Chuckle. :D Thank you! It's called a 'drabble story' and apparently It's something that I invented, or so I've been told. Each chapter can only be 100 words.

I've written a few of them now and they're among my most read stories over on FF.net: "La Bonita Santa Marian" "The Face in the Fog", "The Orphanage", "The Night to Remember Affair" and "Weather or not."

We've run drabble and double-drabble round robins here and they're been a lot of fun.

Yep it does sound like something he could possibly orchestrate doesn't it? Though Mr. Waverly...with that twinkle in his eyes didn't seem to mind Miss Buxom breaking his fall, did he? lol.
